Museum of Science and Industry, Smart Home-Smart Garden

Pierceall is the garden designer again this year for the vegetable/production garden at the Smart Home.  Having been involved in the site and garden design since 2006, Pierceall is planting forward with productive and gardens within a landscape concept.

The garden won the City of Chicago’s Best Public Garden Award in 2009. The garden development and management is by the Cook County master gardeners and Ron Wolford the Master Gardener Educator.
