Greg Pierceall is the newest staff member of the Agriculture/Horticulture Department at JJC.

He comes to JJC from the University of Illinois, Urbana, where he helped launch the Horticulture Degree Program in Oak Brook, Illinois.

Greg’s academic career was built at Purdue University, West Lafayette in the department of Horticulture/Landscape Architecture. Greg’s expertise is site scale design and residential landscapes. He has authored five text books and is the ILCA’s Man of the year for 2009. Another award includes the Association of Professional Landscape Designers 2003 International Award of Distinction.

Pierceall is a registered landscape architect in Illinois and Indiana. He teaches an international travel course to Rome Italy each summer, as well as lectures nationally for Green Industries and Universities.
